My thanks to Hinsdale, creators of such tools as the BootCD and the wealth of info on this forum. Although I did not follow the directions given carefully the first time around...repeating the steps a second time worked unbelievably well. I even upgraded a friend's TIVO after that in a matter of hours. If only real software companies (no names mentioned) were this detailed, organized and precise. I can now enjoy 115 hours of space at lowest quality...32 hours at highest quality. Considering the unit was originally a 30 hour Philips TIVO when I bought it a year ago (that is only at lowest quality, which isn't worth recording at), I'm finally getting the TIVO that was advertised on the box.
