In the thread below, I describe the problem that I've had while trying to upgrade.

I've now tried everything that I can think of, but keep running into a brick wall. I can't get it to come up with the original drive only, nor in combination with the Maxtor 120gb. I even bought one of those tubular UDMA cables to make sure that the cable wasn't being overly stretched.

Will someone out there PLEASE direct me to a good copy of a backup file for an at&tivo. Email, ftp, morpheus, anything. The superbowl is this weekend and I'm desperate to be up again before then.

Many thanks to Agent 86, who graciously made available to me a virgin backup file for the at&tivo. After restoring, my upgrade went without a hitch. I now have 197hrs 20min available.

If anyone has a ftp repository for such files, I would be happy to upload it. Just let me know where to send it.
