Has anyone purchased a new USB included "Tivo Series 2" yet?

I have the ATT version, and several other people have the 60hr Series 2 on order. I have not seen an post from any 60hr Series 2 person yet. I would think by friday some of them will be posting.

Lots of people have purchased AT&T TiVos in the past month or so.

These TiVos are, in fact, TiVo Series2 models with the USB ports.

I added a 120GB B drive. It works nice.

I hope to someday boost the A drive if anyone figures that out.

I ordered my tivo series 2 a few days ago and i was supposted to be here today but i missed the ups guy. Can you guys tell me if there are two Hard Drives in it or one. Thanks!!!!

Who is actually manufacturing the Series 2 Tivo's? I don't recall seeing any mention of the actual manufacturer when I read the Series 2 info on www.tivo.com.

There are threads in the coffee house which answer these questions, but I'm unable to remember which ones now. The basics - one drive. I believe the box is manufactured by the same actual manufacturing facility which built the series 1 standalones. However, there is not a partnered consumer electronics brand (like Philips or Sony) on the 60 hr Tivo 2 that has been mentioned; we'll probably find out more as people actually start getting them.

Solectron is definitely the company that will be building the Series 2 units. I just re-read a news article on it to confirm it.
