Expanding drive more than once

Need to know if you can expand a drive via TiVoMad more than once. For example, you copy a 40gig drive to an 80gig drive then expand using TiVoMad. Then, you take the 80gig drive and copy it to a 100gig drive, and again expand using TiVoMad. This way you can keep upgrading, and not lose settings or recordings.
Thanks!

From about the third page of Hinsdale's How-to : "Remember that once you boot an expanded A drive or expanded A+B drive in your TiVo, you will need to restore from backup, or create a new Mfs Tools backup and restore it, in order to further upgrade recording capacity."
