Does 160GB drive add more hours to TiVo?

I was planning to upgrade my new Series 2 TiVo.com TiVo. I was wondering whether

a) adding a 160GB drive for my B drive would add more hours than a 120GB drive? I know this may sound dumb. But I read in this forum some place that a TiVo could recognize a max of 137GB( or 120 not sure) in any single hard drive. Is this true?

b) If true, is 120GB the max capacity or 137GB?

c) If 160GB would give me more hours than 120GB, then on upgrading the series 2 TiVo with a 160GB hard disk, would I need any special IDE cable ?

I don't know about the series 2, but on the current models, a 160GB drive will give you 17 more GB than a 120. The limitation is the IDE controller, so it is possible that the series 2 has a newer one that can address higher than 137GB, don't know. You shouldn't need anything special for an IDE cable, I think most of what you get these days are 80 pin cables anyway. Hopefully the series two already has a second plug so you can use the existing cable, but don't know that either.
