Working on my 2nd day trying to add a drive and still unsuccesful. I'm putting a 5400rpm 120gb Maxtor ATA133 in a Hughes DTV/TIVO combo. I've used Dylan's disk and Kaz's CD and everything seems fine however my TIVO won't marry.

I know the drive is good because I put the image on the new drive and booted successfully.

Help?

I'm not very knowledgeable, but when you boot up the computer, use the "noswap" boot option instead of the default <Enter> boot option. There are a few posts here that talk about it. There are also a few mentions of it in hinsdale's how-to.

Actually you need byteswapping to successfully run BlessTiVo on the all series 1 model TiVos. You only turn it off when blessing upgrade drives for the new Series 2 DVR and AT&TiVo.
