Error #51

I am trying to upgrade a DirecTV GXCEB0TD.
I have aquired two new "quiet" Seagate drives, a 40gb and an 80gb.
I used DTiVoMad CD to create a backup (about 150mb).
Then I used the "dd if=/dev/hdc of=/dev/hdb bs=32k" command to duplicate the existing Maxtor 40 to the new Seagate 40, and installed the new Seagate 40 in the TiVo.
It boots to the menu. Everything appears OK, except it gets an: "Error Detected (#51) ... You will not be able to record programs or watch programs from Now Playing until this problem is fixed. Please contact Hughes ...".
I figured that somthing was wrong with the copy, so I removed the Seagate, and replaced the original Maxtor 40.
Same Thing!
I now noticed that the TiVo Service Numer is now "Not Available 000000000000". Is this the problem??? The number is on a label on the back of the unit, is there a way to put this number back in? Do I need it?
Help is appreciated!

Easy fix. Under the Reset menu choose reset and delete everything.
The problem is that you put a 2.5 image on a DTiVo with a different serial number than where the image came from... Doing the complete reset will fix the problem.

Thanks for the quick response, I don't understand why, same unit (only one DTiVo, same drive, etc, but I will give it a try!:)

That worked!
After the reset, it is now 106 hours (40gb and 80gb)
Thanks again
