Last night I had problems with the TIVO in that it was not responding to the remote control. After half an hour of changing batteries, rebooting the TIVO and getting p***ed off, I discovered that one of the boys had left the Tomy radio controlled toy jumbo controller on.
I switched it off and everything was working ok. Unfortunately I had recorded Playhouse Disney instead of Time Gentlemen Please, as the channel could not change because of the interference.
Be warned that children radio controlled toys can block out the IR port on your TIVO.
Additionally did anyone watch this weeks episode of Time Gentlemen Please? If so can I have a brief synopsis of it so I know whats happened.

Similar thing, the low energy light bulbs in my room do a similar thing when they have reached their brightest - after "warming up" so to speak.
