I too have been lurking about since I got this TiVo bug! Today at lunch, I upgraded my Hughes DTivo with a Comp USA 80 Gig hard drive. Only problem (minor) were I needed an IDE cable with connectors farther apart, so I could mount the drive on the existing bracket! It now says 106 hours, and I didn't screw up my wifes recordings! Thanks to Hinsdale and all for your services!:)

Heh, I used a tip from here to be able to use the included IDE cable. attach the cable backwards, with the short end attached to the board. This allows the 2 connectors that are farther apart to be connected to the drives.

Glad everything worked out tho. Seems everyone is getting the upgrade bug with the fantastic 80gig drive deal at Compusa.
