TiVo Warranty repair
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Despite trying various things I have come to the conclusion that my aux2 input is kaput.
The unit was bought in Sept so is still well within the warranty period. Can someone tell me what the normal procedure is.
Is it an instant swap out or will I have to be without my TiVo for a period of time. The unit was bought from Comet so is it best to got back to them or ring TiVo customer service.
If it means doing without I will prob get another TiVo and set that up with lifetime sub too.
Cheers in advance

The best thing to do is ring customer services, if you take it back to
Comet they won't know what to do with it, Curry's certainly didn't in
my case.
A techie at Customer Services might take you through some checks but
then they will arrange for a local firm to fix it, usually a swap out in
a couple of days.
If the unit is faulty then the lifetime sub just gets moved over to the
new unit...
