just a curious note..

in the misc directory there are 2 files:

service-v3-s.pub
service-v3-es.pub

each has this in them:

TiVo service V3.0/S p
This prime number is brought to you by Dave Platt of TiVo Inc.

with some encrypted data as well.

Just wondering what this is and why they would put it there??
