Hi
Messed up during an upgrade and am left with a bad backup of my original.
I added an 80GB Maxtor - battled through all kinds of old BIOS issues. Worked fine for a while, then got random reboots. Then a lot of reboots, then GSOD (which really does fix things, then back to rebooting).
So I pulled the drives to run powermax to see if there were any errors. I put them back in, then continuous reboots. I restored what I thought was a good backup and I still have continous reboots. (Yes everything was jumpered OK)
I think it's time to wipe the slate clean.
Can anyone help?

I believe the software level was 2.5 - 2 tuner enabled.

I low-level formatted the disk, and reimaged using the backup I had.
Looks OK for 3 days now - so back to square one.
I'll get that Maxtor 80 in there yet.
