Partial lineup change. Bad idea.

I submitted a lineup change to Tivo 28 Feb. Some channels on my cable had moved, others were replaced with different networks.
Today, TiVo deleted all the channels that I reported were wrong. Aaaargh. The accompanying note that my season passes were moved (if possible) rang hollow, since no new channels were added and the ones that should have moved were simply deleted.
I know life is difficult in the big-time channel lineup business, but this really doesn't take a lot of effort to do it right, folks. I am no better off for having the invalid channels simply deleted. And I might have lost some season passes that would have been retained if the changes had been properly applied.

I feel your pain... I recently lost all of my season passes due to what was basically a 2 channel swap. It makes me somewhat angry that someone consciously made a design decision that deleting SP's in response to a lineup change with no notice to the user is ever permissable. It doesn't take much imagination to envision a number of better solutions.

Hey, but the good news is, TiVo is now going to let you pay $3 dollars more a month.
I also have experienced the total loss of all my season pass's when ALL of my local channels were arbitrarily deleted.
Fixing the problem required 8+ hours repeating the global setup. and then manually redoing the SP's.
I agree, with the post above. Deleting user input (SP's) without user confirmation is bad programing.
