The Sony tivo (40hr, I think) was a prize up for bids (the one contestants row has to bid on to get up on stage) on a recent episode of the Price is Right. Actual retail price was ~400, iirc. Nice to see that they are giving them to CBS for prizes.

"Give" is kind of a relative term...

"Prizes supplied for promotional consideration" is more accurate..."Promotional consideration" meaning "We will talk about (and essentially advertise) said product if you'll give us some to use as prizes"! :)
