What Version am I running???

This is my first post here but I must say that I am impressed with all of the information that I have gotten from this site. I have looked up a LOT of information here but I have not found the answer to this question.
I upgraded my DSR 6Kr to 2x40GB drives (I had them laying around) but I am not sure what version I put on. I intended to put on 2.5xtreme and I am not sure if that is what is on there. I have tried a couple of PC's and a couple of serial cables with no luck getting a #. Short of ripping apart my TiVo (AGAIN) and mounting the drives in my PC, is there any way to determine if I am running 2.5x. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Even if it is a slap to say I did something stooooopid.
Once again!!!! LOVE THE SITE AND ALL THE GREAT INFO!!!!

TiVo Central, Messages and Setup, System Information. It will display the version string.

And I assume it would reflect something along the xtreme lines?

I have no idea what "xtreme" would look like. I'm not aware of any legitimate uses of that illegally copied and modified version of the TiVo software.

I just want to not have to place the daily call which I heard is possible with 25xtreme. I am a paid subscriber to Dave and TiVo. It's just a pain to run a phone line to where my one TiVo is. That is why I want 25x.

Anyone know?

25xtreme isn't too popular around here. Thus, not many people to give you good answers.

That's fine. Like I said, I was just hoping to bypass the dial in part of it.
