Drive Image??

Why wouldn't PQ's Drive Image work to
upgrade a drive? I've heard people asking
about partition magic and obviously that wouldn't work
but drive image works on a bitwise level and cares not
what OS or FS etc you are using. It makes an exact copy
bit by bit ....so why wouldn't it work?
