Jusss wanted to say thanks to everyone here who went before me; successful and unsuccessful. I learned alot from all of you.

I followed the Hinsdale guide and added an 80g hard drive to my two drive DTV unit, replacing the 15g B drive. It was a breeze. Now, it did take me about 3 hours but that is because I make and tested a backup first. I think I should have deleted my saved programs first since they were not going to be saved during the upgrade. I think that may have saved me some backup and restore time. Thoughts?

Now I'll see how much crap I can really keep! ;)

Doing your MFSTools backup with the "noswap" boot option is significantly faster.
