I checked the list to make sure these weren't included, although it looks like other people have suggested similar ones recently -- but maybe we can get 'em into the Frequently Suggested Features list if we try :)

* Add "Watch" in addition to "Record," for those times we maybe want to see something while we're home but without the worry of what to delete, or maybe to remind us that something is on that we couldn't program in because it conflicted with another show

* The Live Guide should distinguish shows on the To Do list (ideally, different colors for user choices and suggestions; the live guide could also, say, bracket shows that wouldn't be available because the unit is recording at the time)

* Guide Filter: Filter on/off should be first item; choose filter next; then the date/time/channels stuff. Put the most frequently used stuff where the cursor lands when the feature's activated.

* Confirm Deletion should show more information than just the series title -- I'd like the extra little security of knowing that I am indeed deleting the episode I think I selected

Stuff that irks me about Suggestions:

* If you have back doors enabled, you shouldn't have to confirm the deletion of suggestions from To Do

* Suggestions from Tivo should remain deleted (on my unit they return daily)

* No shows with Thumbs Downs should ever be suggestions

* Suggestions should not be recorded if they're going to be deleted instantly upon completion (this kept happening to me when my HD had room for an hour-long show... one I remember was on Sat. from 10-11 AM, and its screen said, "Keep Until Sat. 11 AM")

* To Do's suggestions should never differ from Tivo Suggestions

It's kind of awkward, but you can use this procedure:

View upcoming showings.
Manually record the suggested showing, changing it from a suggestion to a normal recording.
Now cancel the showing.

TiVo will now remember you cancelled that recording so it will not return.

Id like the Watch option... my old cable TV box had this and called it a reminder... a little message would pop up and say "You set a reminder for {show title }. Change to that channel? and you could choose yes or no.

It would be a very cool way to claim the TV for a time slot (like when a game is on) so I wouldn't have to worry about my roommate sitting down before it starts and hogging it.
