TiVo recording the wrong channel????

Has anyone seen this behavior on their system before? It's happened about 3-4 times in the last 2 months and it's really frustrating.

Here's what's going on:
I live in an area where there are multiple lineups, depending on whether you choose digital or not.

The problem is that you have to tell TiVo which channel is which network.

For example, channel 3 is either KCTV(CBS) or Gov't Access, depending on your package. I've told TiVo that channel 3 is KCTV. Channel 7 is either UPN or KCTV(CBS). I've told TiVo that for me, channel 7 is UPN.

What happens is that "sometimes" I'll bring up the program guide, and if I'm on channel 3, it says Govt Access. It is showing a CBS show, but the guide data says some govt stuff. Usually changing the channel up then back down corrects the problem. The real problem is that last night, for about the 4th time, it was supposed to be recording Raymond on CBS, but it was actually recording some junk on UPN because it temporarily thought that channel 7 was CBS.

Why is this happening? What's causing TiVo to be confused about which channels are what networks? This is driving me mad because I now have to baby sit TiVo to make sure that it's recording the proper channel.
