I just upgraded my tivo with an 80gb A drive. I probably will add a bigger B drive later.
I'm having something strange happen.
Programs being recorded are expiring way too early. I've had things expire right after they're done recording, or 12 hours later, instead of the normal 2 days.
My system info says 67 hours which is right, and i have maybe 3 pages of suggestions, so it's not like it thinks there is no disk space...
Anybody know any reason this would do this?

Thats normal, your programs will continue to expire (yellow dot with exclamation) just as they did previously unless you change the retention time to longer or Save Until Delete. However, the TiVo will not delete any of your expired programs until it actually runs out of room. It will always delete all of the TiVo suggestions before it starts deleting any expired scheduled recordings. You just get used to pages and pages of yellow dots and keep an eye on your TiVo suggestion recordings to find out if its close to deleting any of your regular scheduled recordings.

Yah, but a program that just ended recording shouldn't be expired allready. it should have no dot next to it for a day, than a yellow dot for a day, and than an expired dot...
My other tivo is 146 hours, so i know that stuff still should expire after 2 days, my problem is stuff is expiring after 12 hours, or less than 12 hours.
