Season Pass Oddity

Anyone else got a SP set up for "Buffy"? I've just re-set mine to test something out and it's a little confusing.

I did a "Search By Title" and, of course, found entries for both BB2 and Sky One. So I set up a SP on both channels. Now each SP has the SAME entries for BOTH channels. Obviously, I only need the ONE SP, so:

1/ Why did it ask me to choose which channels episodes I wanted to record if it was going to schedule them all with the one pass?
and
2/ Why did it allow me to create the second SP at all when it has exactly the same entries in both?

Did you use "View upcoming episodes"? It shows all instances of the selected title across all channels. After setting up the first SP it would have shown ticks against episodes for the channel relating to that SP.

Why not just use a WishList if you want them all?

That's just my point. It doesn't do that. When I 'view upcoming episodes' BOTH SPs have a tick against all episodes on both channels.

No I think you might have missed my point. After setting up the first SP you would have seen double ticks against episodes for that channel and no ticks against episodes for other channels. Once you had set up both SPs then they all appear double ticked. If you want them all just use a single wish list instead.

I agree it does seem odd that you can't just tell it to show only the episodes for the channel relating to this SP. However I quite like it because it warns you that there's more out there than you may be aware of!
