When did they switch from 11 partition to 13 partition? Just trying to do a little foot work prior to opening up my system. It is over a year old, so I'm hoping that it is an 11

What version of the software did it come with? If 1.3, it's 11 partition. If 2.5, it's 13.

Quick question (probably stupid, forgive my ignorance). I am pretty sure I purchased my Sony about Mid 2000, so I am quite postive that it initially had version 1.3 (Plus I remember two distinct new versions being updated to it). Now, when it updates does it modify the partitions? Ie. will an 11 partition become a 13? If yes, then I will need to aquire a an 11 Image, if not.. then I will be all kinds of good once my drive arrives

No changing of partitions during upgrades.
