Maxtor 160g reports as 130g????

After booting with the upgrade Kazymyr CD my hdb drive is listed as 130, when the hardware is actually 160gig.

Is this normal? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Yes that is normal, Tivo can only use about 130gb of the 160gb drive. Unfortunatley the left over 30gb or so is wasted.

Shouldn't it be reporting as either 127 or 128 GiB though?

Once I blessed it, it said that it was 127.

Thanks to everyone for the help. My first Tivo upgrade was ridiculously easy!

I had to use a different drive as my PC had XP/NTFS on the first partition. Once I plugged in the other drive, I entered all four commands and now I have 210 hours (Standalone 30 plus 160g (127)).

On to the Turbonet upgrade!
