My parent's D-Tivo died and they sent it to me for repair. It's a Philips DSR6000 two drive unit (one of the first made, I bought it from Tivo directly). I determined the A drive was bad (clunking noises) and replaced it. Also upgraded the recording space a bit while I was at it. Anyway, I loaded 2.0 on it. Then I forced a call and it downloaded 2.5-001-001.

The question: is this the latest software version currently available on the Philips boxes? Not having a D-Tivo myself, I don't know whether I should expect 2.51 to download or not.

2.5-01-001 is the latest - no 2.5.1 for DTiVos.
