Hi, I've had my TiVo for almost two years and looks like the hard drive finally died on me. It's stuck on the "Starting Up" screen and the hard drive just spins up and then makes a clicking sound and then stops. I've tried power cycling it to no avail.

Since it's out of warranty, I've decided to take the plunge and just upgrade it. The only problem is that it says I need a "Disk Image" to complete it - since my drive is toast. Would someone be kind enough "lend" me this drive image? I haven't the foggiest on where to start to look for one.

It's so weird. After losing my TiVo, I really realize how much I miss it. Watching regular TV is now painful!

Any assistance would be very much appreciated... :-)

Think anyone could send me a Philips image as well? I had a hard drive crash in my 312 (factory dual drive) and had I known how easy it was to do I would have made a backup of my master drives before now.

I have plenty of hard drives around and if I can get it back up would love to make it into a 30/80 (110 hour) but with no images I have nothing but a depressing paperweight and a wife who keeps screaming for her Tivo back.

Could someone please send me image of VIRGIN HDR112 with 2.1 since that is what my TIVO came with.....Much appreciated - had drive crash on PC and lost image. Also having IR problems with TIVO and must return for exchange to Phillips.....
