Where can I get mkdev for the TivoMad boot disk?

My particular desktop computer puts the 'C' drive as /dev/hde. Unfortunately, /dev/hde* doesn't exist in the TivoMad boot disk. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of mkdev so that I can create /dev/hde*.

Alternatively, does anyone have another suggestion for how to create /dev/hde* that doesn't require mkdev?

The boot CD has all the devices up to hdh.

Alternatively, you can download a mknod binary from my web page.
