Should I wait for my SA to receive the 3.0 upgrade before installing my new TurboNet card? If I wait, it seems like I won't have to run the install program but I still need to pull the drive to install the ftp and other utilitities.

If I don't wait, I need to run install to install the driver and copy the utilities. Hopefully when 3.0 arrives, the utilities won't be removed.
