I upgraded my Philips 112 about a month ago to have a 80GB hard drive and everything was just fine until this morning. I turned on the TV and had the message that said, 'Your Recorder is starting up. Please wait a moment.'

I have unplugged my TiVo several times and it always hangs at the same place. Any suggestions?

If I unplug the slave 80GB drive, will it still work with the original drive or have it fried both units?
