I got it! After much searching I was able to find a TiVo around our my area in Orange County. So, after getting it set up. Snag free, except for the DSL problem. I was lacking the filter on my TiVo phone line. So, I have been hearing all this about version 3.0 and 2.5 (I think). But my version 2.0.3-02-1F0 anyone know if this is right or why I may not have gotten a software update.

Also just a small problem with my guide. The programs take a while to update. It will be 15 minutes past before the programming changes. Plus the channel line-up for my area is incorrect. They have channels wrongly labled. Anyway, loving my TiVo. Need to get a bigger drive than 60 hours and figure out how to skip those pesky Ads. :-P Happy to be part of the TiVo movement.

The software is being sent out to gradually, not everyone is getting it at once. Sounds like most people have it so you should probably be getting it fairly soon. Just so you're not too anxious, you're really not missing a whole lot between the version you have and the new one. Congrats on getting your TiVo, I'm a fairly new user myself. :)

I asked the same question a few days ago.

My version 2 has the same software as yours. 2.5 was for the Series 1 and we will never see that version.

Version 3 is coming in the next few weeks according to a cnet article you can see here;
