Quick stop recording and delete

When on the "Now playing menu" if you hit the clear button while on a line of a previously recorded show, it deletes the program (after you confirm.) This is a great feature, and saves time. Often, however, I want to stop recording of a program in progress. If a program is being recorded and you hit clear, nothing happens. :(

I would like it to stop recording, and delete.

If you select the program and select stop recording, it would also be nice to have a "stop recording and delete" selection as well. Usually when I stop recording a program, I also don't want to keep what had already been recorded.

Ok, so I am lazy and want to hit fewer buttons!

Another cool idea would be able to have a quick menu you could pull up while watching a show that's recording... sometimes I'll catch up to something recording live and watch the end, and it'd be nice to have a "delete after recording" option.. since i'm watching the show, it's unlikely I'd want to keep it, and having an option would be nice, instead of deleting it out of Now Playing.

I always thought the screen that confirms recording stopped that you have to hit select on even though it does nothing should be turned into a save or delete screen when you stop recording a normal recording or a suggestion. Now the suggestion goes away and the normal recordng stays. Just leave those as default so pressing select does the same as today.
No more screens, nothing changes for normal access but we can now easily save or delete the partial.
