Almost finished...TivoMad question

Ok I restored the image to the new A drive, tested it. Put the new A drive and the new B drive back into the PC and ran TivoMad.

My question is will that have both expanded my A drive as well as blessing the B drive?

Another way of putting it is would this be a true statement,
"Your B drive and your A drive should be hooked up to your PC when expanding the A drive, you should not expand your A drive, power down add the new B drive and run TivoMad again."

If you answered yes to "3: Is your second drive connected now?" then the script automatically runs BlessTiVo on it. After it's done you should be able to stick them both in your TiVo and boot.

What it is saying you should not do is stick the A drive back in to see if it works, THEN stick the B drive in. That will result in no extra space on the B drive at best, a broken TiVo at worst. You should stick them both in and make sure they are both connected properly for the initial power on.

Yah, I'm ok now. Reason I had to ask the question was that I couldn't test the drives where I had done all of the backing up and so forth (work). The unit wouldn't completely setup until I hooked it back up to my satellite feeds at home, so I was just hoping that it had in fact expanded the A as well as the B (since it only reports the true size of the B drive at the end of running TivoMad). That last bit is what threw me, I was like, why just tell me what the B drive is, what good is that? I want to know how much total space I've got now.....you get the idea. Anyway, now the proud papa of a 225 hour DirecTivo.
