I've upgraded many Tivo's without failure. Now that I am trying to upgrade my own Tivo, I am having issues.

Upgrade HDR212 to 120GB, using a WD 120BG 7200RPM 8MB drive

I ran the dd if=/dev/hdc of=/dev/hdb bs=32k in the linix box with my origianal 20gb tivo drive

It completes the copy and when I insert this drive inthe Tivo to test, it boots up ok and gives me 20hrs.

I take the drive out and stick it back in the linix pc and perform the following

/mad31/setup.sh

It gives me no errors except the error noted.

I put the drive back in the tivo and it telle me please wait a moment for 30 seconds and goes into a continous reboot with a screen flash.

Any Ideas?

i thought there was a version 3.2 script, rather than 3.1. Might be worth a shot. Go to 9thtee and make sure to download the latest CD. Check the directories for the most recent TivoMad script. Also, i'm not sure if TivoMad has been confirmed to work with the 3.0 software, (but I'm sure it worked with 2.5).
