I have a DSR6000 that has been upgraded by replacing the A drive and expanding it and then adding a B drive. Now I want to replace the A drive with a larger drive. Can I make an image by divorcing the 2 drives
(I want to kept my season passes) and apply it a new A drive and then rebless the B drive and add that. Will this work and also will it ruin my orignal A & B drives. I want to put them back in for now.

Thanks

It won't do a thing to the original drives. It just reads them, and makes a divorced backup image.

When you bless the B drive though, the original A is ruined as a Tivo drive until you restore the divorced image to it. A married set won't work apart from each other. And blessing B will wipe it, thus killing the marriage and leaving A widowed. ;)
