So, I have a HDR212 with 2 drives in it. I tried to open the case and it would not budge so I gave up for the night and plugged it back in. It would only reboot. I redoubled my efforts to get the case off and got it. I then saw that the power cable for the A drive had been knocked out. I plugged it back in and got the GSOD. Now, if it recovers itself I can backup the image on my computer and all will be ok. However, if it does not can I image my new drive with a Phillips image that one of you kind forumers give me?
