Hughes DTiVo Temps after Disk Upgrade

Lost the thread where I was going to post my observations...
Ok, added a Seagate Baracuda 80GB 7200 RPM drive to one of my Hughes DTiVos. After one week of operation it's showing a temp of 47C. I do not think that is a change from before the upgrade, but I'm not positive.
I should mention that DTiVo stands on it's side, the L/H side and is next to the TV, but not otherwise enclosed (tv on one side, entertainment center on the other).
Ironically;) the other unmodified Hughes DTiVo is currently running 48C. However it sits flat, and is located in a large bedroom closet with sliding doors that are closed. Not much circulation, but likely similar ambient temps.
I'm going to see if I can stand it on it's side as well, to see if that makes a difference.
Bottom line for me, unless I'm getting an inaccurate reading because it's standing on a side, I don't think using a 7200 RPM drive, or simply adding the 2nd drive made a significant difference. And 47C seems more than acceptable, ie: no need for fan upgrades, or additional cooling.
