Mounting Bracket

Hey everyone.
I, like many of you here, bought that 120gb harddrive off of outpost.com. Anyway, I was happy to see that it came with a free pci adapter and a mounting bracket. Can I use this bracket that it came with to mount it inside my tivo? I don't really want to shell out $20 to buy the 9th tee one.

What Tivo do you have? Only Series 1 Philips & sony standalones need the bracket. And it's nothing at all like the bracket that probably came with your drive (3.5 -> 5.25 rails).

Its a series 1 phillips 30 hour. The brackets that came with it look nothing like the 9th tee ones. They are 2 u shaped pieces a little over 3 inches long, 3/4" wide.

Yeah, those brackets are intended to mount a 3.5" drive in a 5.25" drive bay in a standard PC case.
