Hi all,
my HD crashed on my Hughes GXCEBOT and I download an image from an FTP site and put it on a clean drive (hughes.bak) followed the hindsdale faq by restoring to a new Maxtor 80gb drive and it seemed to work...no error in the restore. I came home plugged it up and I am no better off than before. PLEASE HELP!!! I love TIVO but am in the dark... can someone PLEASE tell me where to get a good image? I don't want to wait 3 months for Hughes to replace it!!!!! or did I do it correctly but missed a step after bringing up tivo? Do I need to leave it powered for a while???

IGNORE THIS!! DUMMY HAD THE JUMPER ON hd on cs instead of Master....lonnnnnnnng day!! ha ha works like a champ!! Time to BLESS!

I did the tivo bless and back to Powering Up!!!! ERRRRRR
any ideas??
I am now restoring the image again!!
