Hi gang. Just moved down to Sunny Florida and my apt. has troubles with the cable. Supposedly the house next door had cable and power turned off an mine got the axe as well (supposedly on accident). So, in the meantime, I await a cable signal and tivo access.

What do I do now? Within the short time I've had Tivo, I totally watch TV differently, and without cable, I'm missing the "water dropping" sounds of fast forward et al.

I have actually been out of my apt. every night I've been here, so I am not asking for a life, just a rhetorical question of things you'd rather do than use your tivo system

I haunt Best Buy stores looking for a Series 2. Sometimes I go to Fry's and look at really big hard drives to put in my stand-alone. I actually bought a 120GB drive last week ($160) but I don't have time to install it. Too busy watching my TiVo.
