Hi,

I live in Denmark (celebrating beating France at the WM) where there currently no TiVo service available.

I would like to buy (i.e. on ebay) and setup a TiVo box as a offline recording unit with the option to upgrade the disk(s).

Is that at all possible ?

If so which makes (Philips/Sony/Thomson) would work with 240V and European TV formats ?

Have they all been successfully upgraded to larger /more disk(s) ?

The how-to only mentions the US models (i think).

Anything else I should be aware of ?
