I finally got my video distribution system running in my house.

I have 1 Sony SVR-2000 (SA) and 1 Phillip DSR-6000 (Directivo) in my den that I wanted to be able to watch anywhere in the house. The Sony (SA) has a Sony Sat-A55 feeding Directv to it. I used a Channel Plus 3025 whole house modulator with built in amp. I also have basic cable 2-17 (for locals). channel 81 is now my den Directivo and channel 125 is my Sony (SA). I put cox IR targets in all the rooms and have 3 of each remote. It is just my wife and I in the house so no need for more remotes. I also have another directivo that serves very little purpose now that is in the third bedroom where the treadmill is (it mostly has sports on it). I am very please with the Channel Plus 3025 and would recommend it to anyone that is looking to have tivo throughout their house.

I still like the idea of TiVo over the Cat5 using the Leviton Decora Structured Media system.

Has anyone had any experience with it?

How good is the video signal, and is it capable of 5.1 audio?

Or is it just distributing it on an RG-6 cable?
