Sorry guys....I'm sure this has been addressed before...I did a search but found nothing.

I've upgraded my phillips with no problems and now want to upgrade my Sony.

1. Are Sony's 1 or 2 drive units...or both?
2. Do I need a mounting bracket or is there an open spot for the new harddrive in the unit? If I need one where and what do I order.
3. Do I need a "Y" power cord?

Basically....just trying to get all of my hardware lined up before I take the unit apart.

Actually the original SAT60s were dual 30+15GB units and then switched to single 40GB drives along the way - around 4rth Quarter of 2000 I believe.

The best way to verify is to remove the cover and visually inspect - although as a rule you can usually tell by serial number:

800xxxx and below - Dual Drive
801xxxx and above - Single Drive
