Whoops! There's already a thread running on this. Sorry.

Should I instruct the poster on how to delete his redundant thread, or should we just make an example of him with numerous responses like: "Not only that, but you can also get a 5400 RPM WD 120 GB drive for only $109 at Outpost.com!"?
The latter does have the benefit of keeping the topic at the top of the list so others won't make the same mistake.

Ya know, I could have sworn Outpost.com had a great offer on a 120GB drive recently!
:D

Ouch! Rough crowd. I even got emails from people about this. I just figured my post would drop off eventually and didn't even know there was an option of deleting it.
Anyway, I looked around a little and found a "delete thread" thing at the bottom but it doesn't seem to do anything. If it still bothers you so, PM some instructions and I'll get it deleted for you.

I don't know, it's kind of fun to roast a newbie every now and then...
Just :D and bear it!

Yeah, it isn't out of spite, just a little fun. Just a little friendly hazing is all. Take it in good humor. (We all have to be able to laugh at our missed steaks. ;))
And besides, you came up with a good subject for the thread. And it really is a public service letting everyone know about the deal.
Say, I heard that Outpost.com had a hidden deal about a 120 GB drive. Their website listed it at $119, but if you put it in your cart, it was actually only $109. I ordered two and they came yesterday!
I'm not sure though if I will put them in a TiVo. The two 120 GB drives in my Mac are rather full with captured video right now. I could swap them out and shelve them until someone can provide me with that season 2 opening for ReBoot I'm missing.

I, for one, thank you worms. I missed the original thread somehow. I ordered one of the drives this morning.
