I have a Denon AVC10SE, I could not get it to work with the Tivo controller. Have you tried all the codes available?
I gave up, and just use both remotes.

Check the FAQ there are more codes than those listed on screen.

Brian, many thanks, one of the extra codes does indeed work for me. These forums are excellent.
Thanks again.

Hmmmm........very good idea these codes to control the tTV with the TiVo remote if you can get it to work. I tried the codes listed on-screen, plus the extra ones in the back of the owners doorstop (sorry, manual) and still no joy. Just had a look in the FAQ and can't find one to do the trick either.
THe only thing that's odd about this is that it's a Thomson TV. You'd think they'd have enough codes for all their own equipment in there wouldn't you:rolleyes:

WoodyUK, I too have a Thompson TV (from Radio Rentals) and can't find a code to control it...
However, fortunately, the SCART cable appears able to switch the TV on and off when I toggle the TiVo between 'standby' and 'on', and I use my Sony stereo for the sound - for which the TiVo handset can control the volume.
Just lucky, I guess :D

I also have a Thompson TV and the codes suggested didnt work. But, I did the whole cycle thru and it works now.. if you can tell me how I can figure out what code it is using, ill tell you the code it worked on :)

Just thought I'd point out - the FAQ mentions that the remote codes changed with 2.5.5 (at least, the codes they list on screen have changed - obviously the remote hasn't changed).
On checking the code list for my Hitachi TV, I found that this was true - the 4th or 5th code controls my TV successfully! Hurrah!
So if you were thwarted by the codes that 1.5 showed you, have a check again just in case.
To be strictly accurate, this is controlling a loan TV while mine is being repaired, but it seems like a very similar model, and my old TV's remote controls it fine, so I'm hoping it will still work when I get my old TV back.
I can go back to one remote - yay! :)
