Red Spot problem (No - not sky's!)

I've got a confused Tivo. A program it recorded Tuesday shows the red spot indicating that the show is currently recording. The program also appears in the To Do list, also showing the red spot. It's scheduled time is the same, ie, Tuesday!

I have tried deleting from both but, although it goes through the motions, it won't delete it.

I have watched the program and it is complete so the recording was not interrupted. How can I get rid of it please?

That's odd. Have you tried rebooting it? That may clear the red dot and allow you to delete it.

But first, if you look at the details screen for that program, do you have an option to "stop recording"?

It was very odd! In the To Do list it was just like any other scheduled program, there was no option to stop recording there or in now playing.

I have switched the box off and on and the entry appeared as a normal program in the now playing and I was able to delete it.

I had this problem on a recording yesterday. Had to restart the recorder to get rid of it.
