It looks like with the 3.0 release, the ele2pestriple is no longer part of the distribution (used to be in the /tvbin directory). I tried using the one from my old 2.5 install and it causes the tivo to reboot. Does a 3.0 version of ele2pestriple exist?

PS - The reason I'm asking is becuase I'm about 85% complete on an application that lets you share shows between 2 of your standalone Tivos (ele2pestriple never worked on my DirecTivo). With 2.5 I could move a show from 1 of my Tivos to the other by hand (including some use of ele2pestriple), but never got to finish my automation of it before I got 3.0

PPS - This thread is not about extraction, but rather moving/copying a recording from one of your Tivo's to the other

I wouldn't expect any official comments on this. Totally unsupported activities seldom get responses. Even backdoors get few remarks.

Plus, if ReplayTV wins in court, TiVo is likely to pursue some sort of networking system. Can't have the users doing it on their own if they can charge you it. - LOL
