Ever since the 3.0 upgrade, a number of people whose ISP's have transparent proxies have been unable to get new program data. In my case, my modem is dead, so I can't use that as an alternative. In 2.x, someone figured out how to add a "Content-length" field in the HTTP post operation which fixed the problem. No one has figured it out in 3.0 yet.

I would like to give it a try, but I don't know the upload/download process. I've found a few possible files (http_get, http_post), and some TCL versions of similar files, but I'm not sure which are used, in what order, and what the process is.

If someone has the details of how the Tivo connects back to get its program data, I would love to see it. Thanks!
