Had our TiVo Series2 for a week now and just signed up for the monthly subscription. I have a basic question regardng the 'Now Playing...' list:

If there is NO icon next to the program that has been recorded, what does it mean? Red means currently recording, yellow means it might be overwritten soon, green means (can't remember now) etc.

Green means "Save Until I Delete", no marker means it's not save until I delete, but it's not going to be deleted in the next 24 hours.

Green means "Save until I delete" ... No icon means that the show will not be deleted for a couple days. "!" means deletion may delete soon.

I believe that all of these items are covered in your owners manual.

The back page of the Viewers Guide covers all the icons but does not say what no icon means, however. Thanks for the answers!

Even if you see yellow with an "!", it only means "may" be deleted in less than one day. It will not actually be deleted until TiVo needs the space for other later recordings you requested or until a save at maximum number is reached. TiVo will not delete requested recordings to record suggestions.

You can really get a good feel for how much space is left on your machine by looking at your suggestions. Lots of suggestions, plenty of space, nothing should be deleted due to space. No suggestions, things are going to start getting deleted.
