ConflictMgr DoRecordShowing: ProposeExplicitSelection returned err 0x00011007

I understand that this isn't the Tivo Help forum, but I am hoping to solicit advice from some of the Tivo hackers, being one of them myself.
So my DirecTivo is somewhat fubar'd right now. My MFS data is hosed and I can't record new programs, add new season passes, or change the Save Until date for any program in Now Playing. When I try to do any of these, I get an error message saying "There was an error" "An internal error occurred while adding this program to the To Do List", "ConflictMgr DoRecordShowing: ProposeExplicitSelection returned err 0x00011007".
I'm not sure exactly what caused this problem, but It might have been Tivoweb. I'm running 1.9.4b2 and I have a DirecTivo. The day I started seeing this error, I tried to record something via Tivoweb. It said it conflicted with another show, but it didn't really because I have dual tuner. Since I didn't really care about the other show (it was a rerun) I told Tivoweb to go ahead and cancel the other show. When I got home from work, I started seeing these errors on my Tivo.
I have searched this forum and some people have had similar errors (with different error codes) and they were told to run Guided Setup and that seemed to fix their problems. I re-ran the Satellite Guided Setup (DirecTivo) and that didn't help.
So I took an extreme and went to System Reset and chose "Reset Program Data & To Do List". My DTivo rebooted and said "Clearing Program Data. This will take an hour." Well, after about 3 minutes, it moved on and completed its booting. Upon booting, my "Channels I Receive" list is reset, but nothing else is. All my Season Passes, To Do List, Guide Data, Thumbs Up/Down data is still there. And sure enough, so is my error. From what I can glean from the logs in /var/log, I believe that the data resetting script hit the same error and bailed out.
So my question is what to do next.
I could call up Tivo customer service, but I have doubts that they could fix my problem without resetting everything and/or sending my Tivo in for repair. If they could fix it I have a feeling it would take forever.
I could do a Reset Everything, but I really don't want to lose my current recordings and it might also bail like the Reset Program Data did.
I could restore from backup, but that would also kill my recordings.
My current thought is that I could write a TCL script based on Tivoweb that could iterate through all of my ToDo List entries and Season Passes and delete them all. As a bonus I could also try to save the Season Pass data to a file and attempt to write a script to parse it and re-add it later. Unfortunately my TCL skills are very new and limited so I don't know how long this would take and if it would actually fix the problem.
Do any hackers have any other ideas on what I can do to fix this problem. I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I got the same thing last week. This would be after 2.5.2 on a Hughes, and I still haven't re-hacked it.
All I did was a simple re-boot and all was well.
Maybe you just need to pull the plug for a bit. I didn't have to pull the plug but you already did the reset.

Yeah I already rebooted twice the first time I saw this error. Do you know if you had the same exact error code or just mostly the same error text?

I typed it up, just in case :)
I first got:
FA DoProposeExplicitSelection:
DoCreateExplicitSelection returned err 0x00070009.
And then everything I tried returned:
ConflictMgr DoRecordShowing:
DoProposeExplicitSelection returned err 0x00070009.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but seeing "ConflictMgr" gave me an idea...
What if there was some way for your networked TiVo to identify a conflict, and have it send the lower-priority recording request (via Ethernet) to a second TiVo?
Just a thought. Sure would be cool. :-)

slemke,
I'm planning to start working on something like that as soon as I get around to ripping my newly 3.0 disk out and reenable telnet... I'm thinking (although I'd love comments on this) that the second box probably wouldn't even need to have a subscription.. Course, i don't have a second box right now, so I'm going to have to pick one up..

For what it's worth:
I first wrote a script to delete everything in my season pass and to-do list. Didn't fix the problem.
So I went ahead and did a "Clear everything" and that actually took several hours (as opposed to the "Clear Program Data" which bailed after 3 minutes) and cleared out everything. This also did not fix the problem.
So I decided to go back to a backup of 2.5 that I had from when I upgraded my 2nd drive a couple months ago. After it insisted on upgrading to 2.5.2 and calling Tivo again to verify my account, I was able to make new recordings. Finally.
I have reason to believe that my problem was not due to Tivoweb as I originally thought. A few days before this happened, I had been toying around with ele2pestriple to import video (Relax moderators, it was video that didn't even come out of my Tivo) and I think this corrupted MFS somehow. So let this be a warning to those hackers out there: Beware messing with MFS and make backups!
