After two months of Tivo and the addition of one 100GB hard drive, I took the plunge. Yesterday (also the end of my billing cycle) I plunked down $250.
Now I have invested $400 + $100 + $250 into this thing.

When I forced a daily call, I saw the glorious account status of 5. It would have been nice to see something happen, like Tivo guy do a flip or grow a beard, maybe even a thank you to the box. Oh well, done sending Tivo money for awhile.

I have Lifetime on a Philips 14hr that i've had since Oct. 2000. I just added
a 80G Maxtor to it & haven't regretted the plunge. I also have LT on a D-TiVo that I've had since May 2001 & the nice feature is being able to mirror that service on a Philips D-TiVo I picked up in Oct. of last year.
