Has anyone run into a situation where an unrated program (such as a movie on the Disney Channel which is unrated) would be blocked though it's only rated PG-13 (we have our limit set at R for our teenager), has anyone seen this before or how to get around it without completely disabling parental controls? Thanks in advance.

Yes...this is flaky artifact of parental controls. No good answer. NR could mean absolutely nothing (like Disney cartoon), but then it could also mean nasty programming for the yunguns...

TiVo P/C errs on the conservative side, but its a pain...and once you've opened the LOCKS, then ALL channels are open for~4 hours before re-lock.

I would prefer a program-by-program screening LOCK/UNLOCK feature...to permit me the opp to review the programming and determine for myself whether it is appropriate or not. P/C's just do not work reliably...
